I shadowed clinicians at the Maryland Autism Clinic under the supervision of Dr. Ji Su Hong. Through this experience, I saw how psychological knowledge is applied in a clinical setting. I followed the diagnostic and treatment process from start to finish and learned how complex clinical reasoning can be. I also saw how clinicians create an individualized treatment plan for each patient, and how much care goes into supporting individuals with autism.
